Pandora’s Way

Why we supported it
Pandora's Way imagines a world where families navigate the digital age together with confidence, where parents and children build deep bonds through meaningful conversations and shared growth. In this world, screen time doesn't divide families—instead, intentional off-screen moments become opportunities for connection, understanding, and joy that transform everyday interactions like dinner or commutes into cherished memories.
Pandora's Way is bringing that vision to life. As a Public Benefit Corporation, it is building expert-designed tools that help families with tweens (ages 7-13) spark magic into their daily lives. Through daily conversation "sparks" and bite-sized parent-led missions, it provides a framework for families to move beyond "How was your day?" and build the balance, resilience, empathy, and digital wisdom young people need to thrive both online and in the real world.
Problem:
Modern families are drowning in screen time while starving for connection. Parents want to bond with their children and guide them through the complexities of growing up in a digital world, but they lack the tools and inspiration to move beyond superficial interactions. The tween years—a critical period for character development and digital literacy—often slip away in a haze of devices, missed conversations, and lost opportunities to build the foundation of trust and communication that will carry into adolescence and beyond. Meanwhile, approaches to digital parenting focus on restrictive screen-time limits rather than cultivating genuine growth from the inside out.
Root Cause:
Families lack accessible, expert-backed resources to transform everyday moments into opportunities for meaningful connection and character building. Parents feel stuck between wanting to protect their children from digital harm and not knowing how to foster the empathy, agency, and self-awareness kids need to navigate both online and real-world challenges. Traditional parenting advice emphasizes rules over relationship, and most families don't have a daily practice for intentional conversation and growth. Pandora's Way seeks to change that. By providing fresh, expert-crafted conversation prompts that take only 60 seconds to access (then the screen disappears), and by offering themed "quests" with bite-sized missions that build confidence and digital wisdom over time, Pandora's Way helps families create sustainable rituals of connection. Designed in collaboration with experts, parents, and children, it empowers families to open their worlds to each other—turning off-screen time into quality time that gently supports the whole family's growth.
